Health Science Major
I chose Heidelberg because the small, close-knit community with welcoming students, coaches, and professors made the campus feel like home.
I majored in Health Science because I hope to improve the lives of others in a healthcare career.
A major challenge I encountered while at Heidelberg was balancing sports, academics, and extracurriculars, and I handled it by utilizing the help of amazing professors and support from friends and teammates.
The best opportunity I discovered at Heidelberg was the anatomy cadaver lab, which has provided me with unique experiences over the past two years.
Outside of the classroom, I was involved in a strong Christian community through the Cru student organization and a supportive family of teammates from Heidelberg's softball team.
The thing I'm most proud of about My Heidelberg accomplishments is getting involved with different groups and communities to get the most out of my ’Berg experience and making many unforgettable relationships.
One faculty or staff mentor or advisor who impacted my ‘Berg experience is Dr. Pam Faber because she continually challenged me in her cadaver courses and prepared me for my future endeavors.
My advice to new freshman me would be to get involved as much as possible because the next four years will fly by.
My favorite Heidelberg memory is worshipping Jesus with Cru and the Tiffin community at our outdoor Spring worship night.
My plans after graduation are to start the Physical Therapy program this summer at Ohio State University.
